Black Child Development Institute:

Wisconsin

Bright pasts. Better futures.

BCDI-Wisconsin will be celebrating the National Black Child Development Week June 5th-9th, 2023 and the theme is Pillars of the Black Community. If you know someone that is a Pillar of the Black Community, please nominate them so we can honor their work. Please email your nominations as soon as possible to timisha@bcdi-wisconsin.org, including their name, organization, contact information and why they should be honored. We look forward to celebrating these individuals making a positive impact in the lives of our children!

Our members are the backbone of our organization. Together, we are able to engage in important and effective education to achieve our mission of improving and advancing the quality of life for Black children and their families.

Volunteer

We believe that our children are the promise of the future; our hope for a better tomorrow. In an effort to fulfill our mission of improving and protecting the quality of life of these children, we recruit, screen, and train volunteers to impact their lives!

We launched our "cutie featured" calendars a few years back, and since have added, conscious clothing, accessories, and other items to strike conversation around the importance of our work. Your purchase goes towards expanding our work and is a great conversation starter.
